Dry Marble Nails

Good Evening Everyone!

I hope everyone it staying warm in this cold weather! Today’s nails I am not to sure about. One moment I like it, the next I don’t. Some people call this technique dry marble or saran wrap nails, either way I don’t think mine turned out very well. I started off with a white base using Sinful Colors Snow me White. I then blobbed on piCture pOlish Jade and Imperial. I then just put saran wrap on top of the wet polish and kind of pressed it around. I made a huge mess.

The pictures actually make it look REALLY good. The clean up was a disaster. I had polish all over the place and by the end of it I gave up. I cleaned up my cuticles the next day.

I love these 2 polishes together. They also happen to be my 2 favourite colours!

I really want to try this again but instead of using saran wrap I’d like to use a toothpick or a thin brush to swirl it around. The saran wrap kept getting stuck to my wet nails which pulled off the colours, aka ruined it. So I had to go over and over on some nails because of that.

I am really impressed with these pictures. I feel like in person these nails are a disaster but it is probably because when I look at them all I see is the stuff that’s wrong. Oh well, I think I may add some stamping to it to see if I’ll like it better.

Thanks everyone for stopping by!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Blue Lighting

Good Evening Everyone!

Today is my Blogaversary! It’s been 2 years since I started this long journey! Thanks everyone for your support and love! It means so much to me! I hope the next year will just as much fun as this one! <3

I hope everyone had a great day! I cannot believe how COLD it is here. This morning the weather channel said it feels like -40 outside. OMG that’s cold. My car almost didn’t start this morning. It made some horrible noises as it started but thankfully it did start.

Todays nails started off with a black base using OPI 4 in the Morning. I then used Nail Vinyls for the lighting bolts and topped with Sally Hansen Gem Crush Bling-tastic.

Blue Lighting (4)I think this turned out awesome. I saw these 2 colours on my nail rack and bam! This popped into my head. I’m very happy with this.

Blue Lighting (32)I wanted to show a super-close up shot of my thumb to show 1) how well the nail vinyls work and 2) how amazingly sparkly it is! I sponged on the blue glitter which is how I got such good coverage.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your day!

White Lace

Good Evening Everyone!

I hope everyone is well! Tomorrow is my blogs 2 year anniversary! I can’t believe its been 2 years. I just want to thank everyone who checks out my blog, it really means a lot to me. I love your support and I hope you continue to enjoy my work. I love you all!! <3 <3

Today’s nails are on the softer side. I used Color Club ‘Soft Chiffon’ as the base, I did 2 thin coats because I wanted that sheer look. I then stamped using OPI ‘Angel with a Leadfoot’ using MoYou London stamping plate Explorer 22.

Whitelace(3)I LOVE how this turned out. The whole plate is just lines, curves and flowers. I used the whole plate to stamp my nails just by picking random areas. I love how I can stamp in so many different ways on the same plate and get different pictures every time.

These feels so elegant to me. The next day when I was taking down wallpaper some of my nails chipped! 🙁

Whitelace(31)This picture is probably the best one I’ve ever taken. I’m just going to sit here and stare at it…

Alright, sorry about that haha. I hope everyone has a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
