Happy Halloween!

Good Morning and Happy Halloween to Everyone!

This weekend was so much fun! I had a Halloween party and everyone came in amazing costumes! My BF and I went as Tron. My Mom and Dad came as a Nutcracker & a Pirate. AMAZING!

Nail Time! I had plain gel polish nails over the weekend for my tron costume. So last night (while watching Walking Dead) I added a ~marble~ effect to my nails.

What I Used:
Base: Bundle Monster Gel Polish Cocktail Dress.
Marble Effect: Orchid polish Snake Charmer and China Glaze White on White.

I did some dry brushing with the Orchid polish. Then with a small brush I created white lines through out. I dipped that same brush in acetone and drew back over top of the white to get a faded marble look.

I loved the way this turned out. I know they are not very Halloween themed but this is all I could come up with last night last-minute. I still love the look.

Thanks everyone for stopping by. Please be careful tonight if you are out with children for some trick-or-treating! Have a wonderful Halloween!

Good Morning Everyone

Today’s nail post is coming out of my ‘vault’. These are nails I did a while back but wasn’t to sure of them to post. But the time has come for me to show you as I have been incredibly busy and didn’t have time to paint my nails last night.

These are my Fall nails.

What I Used:
Base: Color Club glittery peach/gold polish (no name)
Glitter: Barielle Orange Flame

I used a tiny sponge to place the glitter at the base of my nail. It did go on quite thick, which I wasn’t a fan of but overall I really liked the end results.

The Barielle polish is perfect for fall! Thanks everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a great weekend. I’m sure there will be tons of Halloween parties and I’m super excited to see what everyone will be dressing up as!

Spider Webs

Good Morning!

How was everyone’s weekend? I had an awesome weekend at my BFFs cottage. We drank, we ate, we played games and slept. It was a really fun time.

Today’s nails are again Halloween themed. Surprisingly I’m still able to do holiday themed nails. I find I usually get bored (or out of ideas) on the themed stuff. I’m happy I’m still on it!

What I Used
Base: Sephora Break a Leg Warmer (Favourite grey polish in my collection!)
Stamping: Color Show Bold Gold and Wet’n”Wild Black Creme. Bundle Monster BM-XL28 stamping plate & clear stamper.

I love love love this double stamped look! This was another mani I wasn’t sure what I was doing and just went with the flow.

And the featured guest: the spider! (complete with web!). I also turned the black light on in my lighting booth to help give the web a creepy feel (aka, glowing….kind of worked…).

I hope everyone enjoys their week. I am going to have a super busy week because I am hosting a Halloween party on Saturday. So much prep-work! Thanks everyone for stopping by!
