Essie Stripes

Good Morning Everyone

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a super busy weekend with a trip to Ikea, visiting my parents, installing a window and buying a few items to complete my nail room reno.

Today’s nails are super cute stripes. I’ve done this before when I first started painting my nails with blue and greens so I recreated it because it is so simple yet gorgeous.

What I Used
Base: Essie Fall in Line
Middle Stripe: Essie Where’s my Chauffeur?
Top Stripe: Essie Fashion Playground

I free-handed the stripes, mainly because I was too lazy to wait for the polish to dry completely to use tape to start the next colour of stripes. I think it turned out amazing.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Flowers in Twilight Rays

Good Morning!

I hope everyone is enjoying their short week. My week has been super busy! I woke up late this morning so I was rushing around trying to get ready but managed to make it to work on time. I also had my thumb nail split right down the middle. Terrible break, now my thumb nail is a nub.

What I Used:
Base: Color Show Twilight Rays
Stamping: China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy & MoYou London Flower Power plate 04

I removed my fake nails last night to paint my real nails. They are a bit shorter than I prefer (and by a bit I mean a lot!) It was pretty difficult to pick a colour and design on my little nubs. I used 2 of my favourite polishes for this look.

Quick nail room update! I bought new curtains last night and a super shaggy white rug. Just need a coffee table and a quick visit to IKEA over the weekend and the room will be complete!

Thanks everyone for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend!

Nail Room Reno!

Good Morning Nail World!

I hope everyone had a great long weekend! We had a busy few days of painting. Non-stop painting. My nail room is almost finished. I’ve done a ‘Dirty Reno’ (cheap and simple) to make the room nice. I laid new floors, bought a futon and fireplace! (My room is in the basement so I need the extra heat).

Nail Room Before:

Nail Room After:

The photo is a bit wonky as I tried to take a panorama. I have to bring the fireplace in – as I was painting it white and I have a few photos to hang. I’m also starting to look around for a small rug and coffee table to complete the room.

Now here is my nails inspired by my new nail room!

What I Used:
Base: KB Shimmer Fax of Life (why you ask? because it was the colour I was wearing all weekend and was too lazy to change it!)
Stamping: Wet’N’Wild Black Creme & China Glaze White on White, BornPrettyStore BP-L006

The stamping image was a bit difficult to pick up, so some of the stamping doesn’t line up. Overall not bad.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful short week. Hopefully by Thursday I will have found the last few things for my nail room so I can finally say its done!

PS. I’m looking to change the colour of the curtains to something vibrant, and maybe get matching pillows, so If you have a colour suggestion that you think would work in the room, please let me know!
