Long Weekend Neons!

Good Morning!

How is everyone doing this morning? I’m super excited it’s almost the long weekend! I had to have fun nails for the occasion! This design used 5/6 Color Club Neon Collection.

What I Used:
Base: Chine Glaze White on White
Colours: Color Club Volt of Light, Tangerine Scream, Pure Energy, Ultra Violet & Electro Candy and China Glaze In the Lime Light.

I placed drops on polish on my MoYou London large marshmallow stamper then proceeded to stamp on the polish. It created this marble effect. Mushed up neons are some of the best neons!

I used skinny chevron nail vinyls to create the white spaces. I did have a bit of leakage under the nail vinyls but that was totally my fault since I had just painted my nail white I was scared I was going to mess up the mostly dry polish by pressing them down hard. Luckily is was fairly easy to cleanup!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend. Mondays blog post will most likely be on Tuesday (since the Monday is the holiday). Thanks again!

Curtain Call

Happy Mani Monday!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I accomplished quite a bit this weekend. We took a trip to Ikea where I bought a frame and some white boxes. I created a new light box that perfectly fits in my shelving unit. We also found some beautiful new curtains for our living room, so I spent Sunday hemming them to fit.

Today’s nails are inspired by…the curtains! Yes. Spending all the time with the curtains made me want to put them on my nails!

I took all these photos in my new light box! I’ve wanted to do this for so long. I’ve always had a light box but it was so big and bulky it didn’t fit the space well. This is perfect and slides away amazingly.

What I Used:
Base: Essie Bobbing for Baubles on my pinky, index and thumb. China Glaze White on White on my ring and middle finger.
Stamping: Color Club Feel Tower Power & PUEEN plate 83

Check out that curtain comparison! SPOT ON! I cannot believe how changing some curtains can alter the whole dynamic of the room. Before they were red ones, (free from my parents, they looked fine), but now, WOW. Our living room looks amazing.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I wish everyone a wonderful week, check back Thursday for new nails!

Take it Kiwi

Good Morning!

I hope everyone is doing wonderfully this sunny Thursday morning! Yesterday was my brothers 23rd birthday. He recently bought his first car which happens to be a Jeep. Therefore I of course had him car themed gifts! The best surprise was a Jurassic Park Magnet for the sides of his jeep. (Click HERE for pictures!)

Today’s nails are not birthday related unfortunately. They were inspired by my sisters kiwi fruit that she’s brought to work this week.

What I Used:
Base: Color Club What A Shock
Kiwi Center: China Glaze White on White & OPI 4 in the Morning

After the green dried, I used a tiny brush to create the white centers. Then I added the black dots with 2 different sizes of dotting tools. Overall this turned out super cute!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! These kiwis were a hit a my work. Everybody loved them. I wish everyone a wonderful weekend!
