Happy Mani Monday!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. My BFs sister came home from her trip to Cuba engaged! I am beyond happy for her! I went to the airport with her brother (my BF) and their mother. I greeted her with a giant pickle (her nickname) with a ring on it. (Photo will be up on my personal IG later today).
Nail time! More Halloween nails today. This time I did some reverse stamping. It mostly worked. But similar situation as my pervious sunflowers where the reverse stamp was very sticky and wouldn’t line up properly.
Color Club Si Vous Please!, Pucci-Licious & a dark purple with no name. China Glaze Lotus Begin & White on White and OPI 4 in the Morning. MoYou London Festive plate 44.
I created the gradient using a makeup sponge. I’ve been using regular tape in place of a latex barrier as I am out of latex. The gradient turned out better than expected. I topped it off with a clear sparkly polish.
The reverse stamping turned out ok. I believe I can do better. I almost didn’t post these nails since I didn’t like the stamping But I do this blog to show the ups and downs so I felt like I should post it. I’m happy i did!
I’ve had 2 nights this week where I’ve been able to spend a few hours on my nails so I already have 2 more Halloween posts to share plus a tutorial. That’s right, I’ve made my first nail video! I’m super proud and I hope to share it next week! Thank you for stopping by! Have a great week!
Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone is passing a wonderful holiday. Today I have autumn themed nails.
Base: OPI This isn’t Greenland
Stamping: Bundle Monster collab plate with ellandish BMXL-201 & BM-S226, China Glaze Liquid Leather & White on White and Revlon Electric.
This Isn’t Greenland is a beautiful green! Such a perfect fall colour. I stamped the grid lines first. Followed by reverse stamping the sunflowers. I had a few mess-ups with the sunflowers not being quite dry enough or being a bit too sticky. Most worked, a small goof on my thumb but that’s all part of the nail painting process.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! Have a wonderful week and enjoy the rest of the holiday!
Good Morning Nail Peeps!
It’s almost Thanksgiving! (Well in Canada). I hope everyone is excited about the long weekend. I know I am.
Today on the blog I’ve started to do more fall-esque nail art. I have some plaid nails I did a few days ago. I’m not a huge fan on how they turned out. I couldn’t get the stamp straight so all i see is wavy lines. But my BF loved them so hence they go up on the blog.
Base is a mustard yellow from Color Club (no name), stamped with Color Club olive-green (another no namer) & China Glaze Liquid Leather. I used MoYou London Hipster plate 05.
You can see on my thumb the wavy print. I even used my clear stamper. The green didn’t stamp as dark as I hoped but again I still like it.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! Monday is a the Thanksgiving holiday for Canadians so I am not sure ig I will have a blog post up on Monday. I will see how the day goes. Thanks again!
