Good Morning & Happy Halloween!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I’m guessing everyone celebrated Halloween on Saturday, I did at least. This year I went as a box of wine and my BF went as a beer keg. We both actually dispensed booze! Check them out HERE.
Today I have my last Halloween themed mani. I’ve ~loosely~based it off a phrase from the original Star Trek Series. The episode is called ‘Spock’s Brain’. My dad and I often quote ‘Brain and brain! What is brain’. So I thought it would be cool to do a brain mani.
Base: OPI 4 in the Morning, Barielle Big Apple Red, Color Club Tangerine Scream and Electro Candy.
Brains: China Glaze White on White & MoYou London Festive plate 44
I started off with the red, orange, pink and black polishes. I dabbed them on a large stamped head, stamped the head once on my silicone mat then dabbed on my nails. It turned out wonderful but boy oh boy there was a mess around my cuticles.
I used the white polish to stamp the brains.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I know I’m still tired today from all the fun this weekend. Have a great week!
Happy Thursday Everyone!
I’m super excited for today’s post because I’ve been working on creating nail videos and today I’m going to share my first one! I love creating roses and it was one of the first things I tried to create when I started out blogging so I thought it apt to be my first video tutorial.
But first, a few photos.
Base: KBShimmer Fax of Life
Roses: Barielle Big Apple Red & Fifth Avenue Boutique, Color Club Wild Cactus & China Glaze White on White
My video tutorial can be found on Instagram, Facebook and Google+ because the file is too large to post to my blog. I’ve tried to make it a smaller file but the results would take away from the video. I’ll add the links here to the video when I post it.
I’m super excited and nervous about posting my firs nail video. I’d like to do more. I hope everyone will have a positive reaction towards it. The whole video was 2 mins but I’ve sped it up so it only is about 27 seconds.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope you enjoy my video!
I hope everyone had a wonderful week! Mine has been super busy. I had soccer on Monday night, baseball Tuesday night and yesterday I did yard work and cut the grass!
I have simple nails up on the blog. They were super fun to create and they look elegant.
What I Used:
I put on 2 coats of base boat to get my nail extra shiny. I then used a makeup sponge to dab on the gorgeous glitter polish called Purple Hearts by Barielle.
That’s it! I know super short post but this was so simple to create it doesn’t require much explaining! I topped it off with Seche Vite fast dry top coat.
Thank you everyone for stopping by.Your continued support means so much to me! Have a wonderful weekend!
