Summer Vacation

Good Morning Nail Peeps!

This week I splurged and bought myself the new Summer Vacation Collection by KB Shimmer! OHMYGOSH what a beautiful collection. The colours are vibrant and the glitter is beyond sparkly!

What I Used:
Base: KB Shimmer No Wave!
Stars: Nail Vinyls & KB Shimmer Berry Chill

SO SPARKLY! This is only 2 coats. I’m blown away. Usually when I wear a polish that has that amount of sparkle, it usually take 3-4 coats for full coverage.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! There are 8 polishes in this collection so after these 2 I still have 6 more to play with! Have a wonderful long weekend!

Rainbow Monday 🌈

Happy #ManiMonday!

What a beautiful weekend! I spent all weekend outside working on the yard and hanging out with family! I luckily had a few minutes late Sunday night to do a rainbow dotticure.

So many polishes were used!
Base: Color Club On My Versailles. It it an extremely sheer polish. I used it because I didn’t want to go with a clear base coat. This gave it a hint of colour.
Rainbow: Red-Color Club Style Icon & China Glaze Seas the Day, Orange-Color Club Coral Cascade & KB Shimmer For Fox Sake, Yellow-Revlon Electric & China Glaze Sun Upon my Skin, Green-China Glaze Shore Enuff & Sinful Colors Innocent, Blue-Essie I’m Addicted & China Glaze Frostbite and finally Purple-China Glaze Lotus Begin & Color Club Pucci-licious.

Holy smokes! 13 polishes! I used my silicone mat to blob each polish colour on and used a small and medium dotting tool to create the dots. I love how this turned out. Only thing I would change is the orange section. The polishes I chose are tool close in colour so unless you’re looking really close it just looks like one shard of orange.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope this week is just as beautiful as the weekend was! Thanks!

Mani Monday Pastels

Good Morning!

Happy #ManiMonday! Today’s nails are done with a set of new polishes. A gift from my BF for my birthday. These are Jena Taylor pastel polishes. This is the first time using this brand and so far so good. They went on nice and dried quickly. I’s been almost a day now so I am still seeing how they wear.

What I Used:
Jena Taylor Pastel polishes. No name on the polishes.

I used some really old french nails tip guides to create the half moons on my nails. I did a layer of Seche Vite top coat between each polish application so that it would dry faster. (It worked)

There are 2 more light pink polishes that came with this set (and a blue one that is not pictured). I didn’t use them since they were so light and was afraid they wouldn’t cover the other polishes. I love all these colours, only 2 coats to get them solid (which is impressive).

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful week.
