Watermelons!

Good Morning Everyone!

What rainy/snowy weather we have today, not very spring like at all! Today I’d like to share some super-duper cute free-handed watermelons! I really wanted to do a fruity mani. It was either watermelons or pineapples.

What I used:
The Base: China Glaze At Vase Value
Watermelons: Color Club Electro Candy and Twiggie, Color Show Porcelain Party and Wet’N’Wild Black Creme.

I used a super thin brush to create the watermelons. I started with the pink and made a bunch of triangles on all my nails. I used white and green after on one of the triangle sides followed by a thin dotting tool for the seeds.

These turned out so cute I was going around work showing my nails and saying ‘Look at my cute melons!”…not realizing that being a girl some people might misinterpret what I said! Everyone had a great laugh and loved my watermelons!

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the week!

Flamingos

Good Morning Everyone!

With this cold-to-the-bone weather, I wanted to bring a warm vacation feel to my nails! And what better way to do that than with FLAMINGOS!

What I used:
Base: China Glaze Turned up Turquoise
Stamping: China Glaze Flip-Flop Fantasy and At Vase Value, Wet’N’Wild Black Creme. MoYou London Tropical Plate 15 & 16. Born Pretty clear stamper.

My thumb has a stamping gradient. (I’m getting pretty good at them!) and I did some double stamping on my middle and ring fingers. A feathery background to a silhouetted flamingo.

I love these nails. I love flamingos, and the turquoise! China Glaze Turned up Turquoise is probably near the top of my favourites list (so is Flip-Flop Fantasy and At Vase Value) but who am I kidding? I don’t have a favourite list, I LOVE them ALL!

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the week!

Pineapples!

Good Morning!

What a BEAUTIFUL week we have been having! I  love the spring weather and not having to wear a giant winter coat! The warm weather put me in such a good mood I wanted to reflect that on my nails! Pineapples! Which are perfect for those delicious summery drinks I love so much.

The base is Essie Bobbing for Baubles. With a 2 sided dotting tool I created the pineapples in white using Maybelline Color Chow Porcelain Party so the pineapples would POP!

For the pineapples I used China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin, Stoked to be Soaked and Shore Enuff, and Color Show Tenacious Teal. I used a thin brush to add colour to the white pineapples.

I’m in LOVE with these nails! They are so adorable I don’t want to take them off!..(well until I think of another cute design!)

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
