Bright Stripes

Good Morning!

I hope everyone is having a great week! Today I’d like to share my free-handed striped nails.

What I used:
The Base: China Glaze Sun upon my Skin
The Stripes: Color Club Feel Tower Power

I used a thin brush to create the stripes. My hand wasn’t the steadiest when I did these, so a few of the lines aren’t straight. I wanted to do a bright mani since the past few days have been rainy or cloudy.

I think this came out great, even with a shaky hand. Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope you all have a great weekend!

Space Pizza!

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I have some awesome nails I’ve wanted to try for 2 weeks! The idea for these nails came to me after my watermelon nails. I wanted to do something similar in style and that’s when I thought PIZZA! And to make it better I did a spacey background. (Ya that’s right, I wanted SPACE PIZZA!)

What I Used:
Base: Color Club (no name), it’s a dark purple polish and Si Vous Please! for sparkle
Pizza: Crust-China Glaze Don’t Honk Your Thorn, Cheese-China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin and OPI Angle with a Leadfoot,¬†Pepperoni-Barielle Big Apple Red

I used a super thin brush to create the pizza. I started with triangles in the crust colour, then did a few drops of the cheese polishes and swirled them around with the brush and I used a small dotting tool for the pepperoni. I think these nails are so freakin’ cute!

What was even more awesome is that at work it was inventory day which means the whole plant gets a pizza day! It’s the greatest day for pizza! Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my pizza as much as I did! Have a great weekend!

Coachella Nails

Good Morning Everyone!

What a GORGEOUS weekend we had! I love the sunny weather so much-I even got a tan from being outside! These nails were inspired by the beautiful weather outside, my new #Festival stamping plate from Bundle Monster and a few lovely ladies on Instagram!

What I used:
Base: China Glaze Metro-pollen-tin
Gradient: Makeup sponge, China Glaze Metro-pollen-tin and Stoked to be Soaked.
Stamping: Wet’N’Wild Black Creme and Bundle Monster Festival stamping plates BM-s303 & BM-s305 and a clear stamper.

I used a makeup sponge to blend the base colour (yellow) with the orange. I used my liquid latex around my fingers for easy cleanup. Once I liked the blending I removed the liquid latex with a dotting tool (that’s what I had nearby – too lazy to move to get tweezers!). I stamped using a clear stamper-unbelievable how awesome it is to stamp nails now that I can get a straight image! And I cleaned it all up with a thin brush and pure acetone.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a chance to step outside even for ten minutes to soak up the sun!
