I hope everyone is having a good week. Mine has been relaxing. My BF is in Saskatchewan with his boss hunting! He’s having a great time. I’ve got the house mostly to myself (my sister lives with me),but she usually goes to bed at 8 (yes, shes 25) so I get time to myself at night.
What else to do with my time but to paint my nails! Today I have another polish from OPI Iceland collection.
What I Used:
Base: OPI Icelanded a Bottle of OPI
Triangles: MoYou London Holy Shapes plate 4 & Color Show Bold Gold.
I wanted to try stamping the gold triangle instead of using tape. It mostly worked. A few of them dried to quickly and stayed on the stamper but I was able to touch them up with a brush.
I’m improving so much holding a bottle with my cinderella hand. It is getting easier and easier each photo session.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
It’s #ManiMonday! I apologize for being absent last week. Broken nails and adult life got in the way of my hobby but a little break is needed now and again. Today I have a quick post to share.
What I Used:
Base: Color Show Pretty in Peach
Stamping: Wet’N’Wild Black Creme & Bundle Monster plate BM-S308
I had too many broken nails recently so I filed them down and turned my squares into rounds. I think having round nails will help them grow and not break as easily.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I will be going camping this weekend for my birthday! I hope to have camping birthday themed nails on Thursday! Have a great week!
Good Morning & Happy #ManiMonday
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I celebrated my BF’s grandfathers 91st birthday yesterday! It was a wonderful time, I made homemade apple pie and turned the crust into a big 91. We also did a lot of shopping for vacation. I can’t believe on Saturday I will be one a beach!
Today’s nails were inspired by some gold and black pineapples that were on some glasses we bought. I attempted to do the pineapples but couldn’t get them small enough so kept with the colors and did a dotticure.
What I Used:
Dots: Color Show Twilight Rays, Finger Paints Beverly’s Touch, Color Club Soft Chiffon and a glittery gold Cosmetics Arts polish.
For these dots I used a thin brush. I would normally use a dotting tool but I took my nail polish upstairs to paint my nails in front of the TV and was too lazy to go back downstairs for a doting tool. These turned out just a good!
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I’m planning on having 2 sets of fake nails to take on vacation. I find my real nails break super easy. I hope to share them with you on Thursday. Have a great week!
