Starry Evening in the Forest

Good Morning!

It’s been a crazy few days. I had planned on having a full day of nails on Sunday while watching back to back hockey games but mother nature decided to crap on us so I got called into work. Plans ruined.

BUT, the best part of the weekend was that my BF made me a scavenger hunt to find nail polish!! If you follow me on IG I shared it with you guys. He bought me the newest collection from China Glaze, Chic Physic! Last night I had a few hours and was able to play with a few of the polishes!

First up, Activewear Don’t Care. Such a gorgeous green. I love green. My favourite colour! This is 3 coats with no top coat.

This green called to me to and said ‘starry evening in the forest’. I may have been a bit tired when I heard the polish talking to me but the design turned out amazing!

Products Used: China Glaze Activewear Don’t Care & Liquid Leather and Color Club Si Vous Please! Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-S178

These nails make we want spring/summer to be here so BF and I can go camping and look at the stars just like my nails. Thank you everyone for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!

Zebra in Pink

Good Morning!

How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was good, we celebrated Moms birthday on Sunday (even tho its really on Tuesday) so that we had more time together.  I am coming down with a cold also; my sinus’ feel so full. Hopefully it’ll be a quick cold.

I had time on Saturday to paint my nails. This was a cute design I thought of after 2 previous failed nail art attempts.  I loved these nails. So cute and fun.

Products Used:
Base was my gel polish Button Down from Bundle Monster. Pinks were Color Club Endless, China Glaze Float On, & Cosmetic Arts pink and silver polishes with no names. Stamping is China Glaze Liquid Leather & MoYou London stamping plate Pro XL o4.

I used a super long thin brush, I dipped it in a blog of polish I had on a silicone mat and pulled the brush straight on my nail. I did this in the 4 colours. Once dry I stamped over top.

I’ve got a video tutorial that I will post tomorrow, that shows how easy it is to create these nails.

Thank you everyone for stopping by. My goal this week is to rest, then hopefully I’ll be ready of a blog post on Thursday ( or Friday). Have a great week!

The Man with the Golden Gun

Mani Monday is here again!

How was everyone’s Easter? Did you eat a lot of candy? I was (surprisingly) able to keep my chocolate intake down. We did our annual trash can turkey, there’s a photo of my lighting it here.  The turkey turned out delicious.

Nail time! I created these nails before Easter.

Products used:
Polishes: Color Club light yellow polish with no name, Sinful Colors Let’s Meet, Zoya Sue & China Glaze Liquid Leather.

I created the marble look using a thin brush and diluted nail polish. After the light yellow base, I used the bright yellow to create wiggly lines. Followed by the light gold/white shimmery Zoya polish. I had to use quiet a bit of acetone to water down the black so it wouldn’t’ be the only thing you see. Overall it turned out amazing!

I topped it off with my favourite top coat of all time. OPI The Man with the Gold Gun. Not only is it a James Bond polish but it is pack with 14ct gold leaves. Just beautiful!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!
