Something terrible happened on the weekend.
Not to be overly dramatic or anything but I BROKE 3 NAILS ON MY PICTURE TAKING HAND! THIS IS TERRIBLE! I have 3 awful looking nubs now. My nail painting days are over! *sobs uncontrollably*.
But really, it look terrible, so terrible in fact I used my Cinderella hand for today’s post. Prepare for some awkward photos!
What I Used:
Base: Squeeze the Day from KB Shimmer Summer Collection
Dots: Aspen from Zoya. I used a medium-sized dotting tool to create the dots.
It was incredibly difficult to hold the polish bottle with my Cinderella hand. It felt so awkward. (And I think it looks really awkward.)
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone was able to get through this post ok. I can barely handle how awkward my hand looks. Thanks again. See everyone on Thursday.
What a beautiful weekend! I spent all weekend outside working on the yard and hanging out with family! I luckily had a few minutes late Sunday night to do a rainbow dotticure.
So many polishes were used!
Base: Color Club On My Versailles. It it an extremely sheer polish. I used it because I didn’t want to go with a clear base coat. This gave it a hint of colour.
Rainbow: Red-Color Club Style Icon & China Glaze Seas the Day, Orange-Color Club Coral Cascade & KB Shimmer For Fox Sake, Yellow-Revlon Electric & China Glaze Sun Upon my Skin, Green-China Glaze Shore Enuff & Sinful Colors Innocent, Blue-Essie I’m Addicted & China Glaze Frostbite and finally Purple-China Glaze Lotus Begin & Color Club Pucci-licious.
Holy smokes! 13 polishes! I used my silicone mat to blob each polish colour on and used a small and medium dotting tool to create the dots. I love how this turned out. Only thing I would change is the orange section. The polishes I chose are tool close in colour so unless you’re looking really close it just looks like one shard of orange.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope this week is just as beautiful as the weekend was! Thanks!
Apologies for the late blog post, work has been exceptionally busy this morning. Back to back to back meetings running right up till lunch. Even now more things have come up so this will be a short post.
Shark Week! I saw some other shark week nails on Instagram and I knew I had to get mine up! I did these nails a long time ago on a false set of nails. I’ve been saving the deign concept for when shark week was finally on.
What I used:
Base: Color Club Sheer Disguise
Stamping: Bundle Monster BM-XL15 & Sephora Break a Leg Warmer
Pinky: 2 Cosmetic Arts silver glitter polishes
Thumb: Sephora polish, China Glaze White on White & Liquid Leather and Barielle Big Apple Red.
My thumb shark was created by using a small brush and dotting tool. The shark’s mouth got a big squished while I slept but overall I think it turned out really nice.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I’m excited for this week to come to a close. I’d love a day to relax and sit on the deck outside in the beautiful weather not worrying about anything. Hopefully that’ll happen. Have a wonderful weekend!
