St. Patrick’s Day 3

Happy Monday Morning!

It was pretty gloomy this morning until I stepped on the scale and lost 2 more pounds this weekend! Down 16lbs since Jan 4th 2016! Just needed to share, I’m so proud that I’ve stuck with it!

I am also super happy with my nails! I FINALLY got a watermarble to work! The base is Essie Fashion Playground.

I used Sinful Colors Rise & Shine and Let’s Meet, and Essie’s Fashion Playground in the watermarble. I worked as quick as I could to create a design I liked. I used liquid latex around my whole finger; – BTW I’m pretty sure the lid to my liquid latex is growing mold…I didn’t know it could do that..I should probably invest in a new one.

I wasn’t expecting to pull of a watermarble. I did one nail and it worked so I did another, then another, then I was done! I honestly couldn’t believe it! Watermarbling is in my near future! I can feel it!

Thank you everyone so much for stopping by! I have been trying to be more active on Twitter! You can find me here –> @simplystlishGB

Thanks again!

Pineapples!

Good Morning!

What a BEAUTIFUL week we have been having! I  love the spring weather and not having to wear a giant winter coat! The warm weather put me in such a good mood I wanted to reflect that on my nails! Pineapples! Which are perfect for those delicious summery drinks I love so much.

The base is Essie Bobbing for Baubles. With a 2 sided dotting tool I created the pineapples in white using Maybelline Color Chow Porcelain Party so the pineapples would POP!

For the pineapples I used China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin, Stoked to be Soaked and Shore Enuff, and Color Show Tenacious Teal. I used a thin brush to add colour to the white pineapples.

I’m in LOVE with these nails! They are so adorable I don’t want to take them off!..(well until I think of another cute design!)

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

St Patrick’s Day

Happy Hump Day!

Today has been such a busy day already! I got up early-like before work-to shovel because I really didn’t want to do it after work! Holy so much snow! We got close to a foot. Luckily it was light and mostly fluffy so it wasn’t difficult to shovel!

Today I have my first of a few St Patrick’s Day nail designs. The base is a grey from Cosmetic Arts. Such a beautiful grey, I really wish these polishes had names! I used my second smallest dotting tool to create the green clovers with Mojito Madness from Essie. Then used an even smaller dotting tool for the dark sparkly clovers inside the green ones. That polish is I Got Distracted from Cult Nails.

This turned out so cute! Like look at those adorable clovers! The stems were a bit difficult but most looked ok.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has fun in the snow!
