Happy Star Wars day! I have some AMAZING nails to share with you this morning. I think these are the best I’ve ever created! My inspiration came from the first film, Episode IV A New Hope. Here are the photos I used for my inspiration. (Taken from Google.)
I did the different scenes on my hands! I used a pair of thin brushes, dotting tools, a makeup sponge and a lot of time to create these looks!
What I Used:
OH MY GOSH. I used 11 polishes! For both hands! Here’s the list of them. Sally Hansen Branch Out, Sweet Talker & Ginger Zinger, Essie The Girls are Out, Color Club Wild Flower & a brown polish with no name, Revlon Electric and China Glaze Liquid Leather, White on White, Don’t Honk Your Thorn & What A Pansy.
Above is my right hand, painted with my left, non-dominant hand. This is the best thing I’ve ever done with my left hand. I am in complete AW on how this turned out.
This turned out just how I imagined it would. The beautiful sunset on Tatooine. Here’s a few more pictures because I LOVE STAR WARS!
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I had the best time creating these nails. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and May the Force Be With You!
Good Morning Nail World.
I hope everyone is having a great week so far! It felt like a Thursday all week so I’m finally glad it’s actually Thursday! I tried to a new technique on the blog today. I attempted marble veins.
What I Used:
Base: Zoya Aspen
Veins: Cosmetic Arts light Grey polish & Wet’N’Wild Black Creme
After my base dried I squiggled on the grey polish using the thinnest brush I have. I used a slightly larger brush to put acetone on the grey veins to dilute them. I did the same for the black lines but I didn’t dilute it quite as much.
My inspiration is the piece of marble we have in our shower. (We have a built-in recessed shelf in our shower for our shampoo bottles. The edges are all marble). My veins are quite strong compared to my inspiration, but I still love the outcome.
Thank you everyone for stopping by. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Good Morning Everyone,
I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a super busy one. The BF & I went to Grand Bend at a friends cottage and we celebrated Moms birthday on Sunday (even tho it is today)! ANDDD My sister started living with me since she now goes to work where I work. BUSY weekend! But so much fun!!
Today’s nails are MOM inspired.
What I Used:
Base: China Glaze Seas the Day
Stamping: MoYou London Hipster plate 05, OPI 4 in the Morning & From A to Zurich, and China Glaze White on White for the hearts.
These nails, I know, aren’t typical ‘birthday’ themed. Mom has a thing for plaid shirts, even more for RED plaid, and it was what she was wearing yesterday when we celebrated her birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! LOVE YOU!
