Banana for Scale!

Happy Friday!

It felt like such long days but a short week. I’m glad the weekend it here and that the forecast is sunny!

This shit is BANANAS. B-A-N-A-N-A-S ( sorry I had too. How can you not have that song in your head after looking at these nails!)

Products Used:
China Glaze Werk It Honey!, Metro-Pollen-Tin & Liquid Leather. Bananas were free-handed.

These nails were actually inspired by my boss and colleague. My colleague printed a picture of a banana as a scaling tool and I pinned it to my office wall. My boss then saw and laughed (I think more at me but I laughed with him). Was a good day for bananas.

Have a great weekend!

Picasso

Happy Friday!

Today’s nails were inspired by an article I found on Buzzfeed, I’ve linked it HERE. I went on Instagram and wanted to see who else has done something like it. They’re wasn’t many people doing this design but I love the line work so I gave it a shot.

The nail art is inspired by Picasso (and the buzzfeed article).

Products Used:
Button Down gel polish from Bundle Monster & OPI 4 in the Morning.

I used a skinny paint brush to create the line work. I googles images of Picasso’s work to get further inspiration on how to draw the faces. It was super easy to create.

This nail art was so easy to do but I thought it was so elegant. I wore these nails for a few days, and I couldn’t take my eyes off them.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend and try to stay warm in this crazy snowy weather!

Rainbow Squiggles

Happy Mani Monday!

After a festive weekend of drinking like the Irish, I wanted to continue the love with a squiggly rainbow. It also turns out that my dad is 100% Irish and my mom is Irish and Polish (thanks to the ancestry tests). Needless to say it was good time to find out your heritage.

Products Used:
Today’s rainbow is brought to you by the polish China Glaze. Starting at red: Seas The Day, Stoked to be Soaked, Sun Upon My Skin, Shore Enuff, Sea The Point & What a Pansy.

The rainbow squigglies were all done free hand. I just went with the flow.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope you all had a great weekend and will have a wonderful week.
