Birthday Camping

Good Morning!

I was so busy Thursday morning my blog post slipped my mind! You would think after doing so many post on the same days you wouldn’t forget.

Today’s nails are to celebrate my 28th birthday on Saturday. My BF, his sister and I are going camping.

What I Used:
Oh boy! This is a huge list. 12 polishes.
Base: (The greens) China Glaze Highlight of my Summer, In the Lime Light, Sinful Colors Innocent, Barielle Central Park and NOPI One Time Lime.
Camp Fire: China Glaze Unplugged, Color Club light brown, Tangerine Scream, Revlon Electric and Essie She’s Pampered
HBD & 28: China Glaze White on White and OPI 4 in the Morning

I love the way these turned out. For the base I blobbed all the greens on a large stamper and stamped the mushed up polish on my nails…made quite a mess. I then used a thin brush fro the logs and flames. I used the same brush to spell HBD (short form of Happy Birthday) and 28.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I have a half day at work so we can leave around lunch for camping! I’m super excited. I’ve even found a recipe to make brownies on the camp fire. Hopefully it works! Thanks again, have a wonderful weekend!

Golden Dots

Good Morning & Happy #ManiMonday

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I celebrated my BF’s grandfathers 91st birthday yesterday! It was a wonderful time, I made homemade apple pie and turned the crust into a big 91. We also did a lot of shopping for vacation. I can’t believe on Saturday I will be one a beach!

Today’s nails were inspired by some gold and black pineapples that were on some glasses we bought. I attempted to do the pineapples but  couldn’t get them small enough so  kept with the colors and did a dotticure.

What I Used:
Dots: Color Show Twilight Rays, Finger Paints Beverly’s Touch, Color Club Soft Chiffon and a glittery gold Cosmetics Arts polish.

For these dots I used a thin brush. I would normally use a dotting tool but I took my nail polish upstairs to paint my nails in front of the TV and was too lazy to go back downstairs for a doting tool. These turned out just a good!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I’m planning on having 2 sets of fake nails to take on vacation. I find my real nails break super easy. I hope to share them with you on Thursday. Have a great week!

Easter Bunny

Good Morning!

One week closer to Easter and 4 days till MOMS BIRTHDAY! I’ll have Birthday nails for mom on Mondays post. Today’s post is all about Easter!

What I Used:
Base: China Glaze If in Doubt, Surf it Out.
Carrots: Color Show Orange Fix, China Glaze Stoked to be Soaked & Essie Mojito Madness.
Bunny: China Glaze White on White, Feel the Breeze & Wet’N’Wild Black Creme

I used a thin paint brush for everything. Free-handed it all. The carrots were so tiny I only ended up doing one hand. I went to work the next day with only one hand painted.

I took my 3 attempts to get the bunny butt right. First time was too small, second was really gooey, so for the third I took all the polish off and started fresh. It worked that time. What a cute little bunny butt!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
