Zebra in Pink

Good Morning!

How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was good, we celebrated Moms birthday on Sunday (even tho its really on Tuesday) so that we had more time together.  I am coming down with a cold also; my sinus’ feel so full. Hopefully it’ll be a quick cold.

I had time on Saturday to paint my nails. This was a cute design I thought of after 2 previous failed nail art attempts.  I loved these nails. So cute and fun.

Products Used:
Base was my gel polish Button Down from Bundle Monster. Pinks were Color Club Endless, China Glaze Float On, & Cosmetic Arts pink and silver polishes with no names. Stamping is China Glaze Liquid Leather & MoYou London stamping plate Pro XL o4.

I used a super long thin brush, I dipped it in a blog of polish I had on a silicone mat and pulled the brush straight on my nail. I did this in the 4 colours. Once dry I stamped over top.

I’ve got a video tutorial that I will post tomorrow, that shows how easy it is to create these nails.

Thank you everyone for stopping by. My goal this week is to rest, then hopefully I’ll be ready of a blog post on Thursday ( or Friday). Have a great week!

Picasso

Happy Friday!

Today’s nails were inspired by an article I found on Buzzfeed, I’ve linked it HERE. I went on Instagram and wanted to see who else has done something like it. They’re wasn’t many people doing this design but I love the line work so I gave it a shot.

The nail art is inspired by Picasso (and the buzzfeed article).

Products Used:
Button Down gel polish from Bundle Monster & OPI 4 in the Morning.

I used a skinny paint brush to create the line work. I googles images of Picasso’s work to get further inspiration on how to draw the faces. It was super easy to create.

This nail art was so easy to do but I thought it was so elegant. I wore these nails for a few days, and I couldn’t take my eyes off them.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend and try to stay warm in this crazy snowy weather!

IT

Good Morning!

Today’s nails are anticipation of tomorrow. For some crazy reason I agreed to see the new IT movie. I probably won’t sleep Friday night. My BF’s Dad likes the book and the old IT movie so he’s leading the parade to the theater.

I did the nails with a glossy top coat but I thought it was hard to see so I put a matter top coat over top. Here is a side by side:

What I Used:
Base: You’re so Tragic gel polish from Bundle Monster
Balloons & ‘IT’: Color Club Style Icon & Royal Flush and China Glaze White on White.

These nails turned out so creepy! The glossy IT looks textured and bring out the (blood) red colour. I free-handed the balloons and ‘IT’ using a thing brush. I did it all in white first, then went over it in the reds.

Just a few more pictures to really show you the balloons!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I probably won’t sleep Friday night cause I’ll be having nightmares about Pennywise. I hope everyone else has a wonderful weekend.
