Something terrible happened on the weekend.
Not to be overly dramatic or anything but I BROKE 3 NAILS ON MY PICTURE TAKING HAND! THIS IS TERRIBLE! I have 3 awful looking nubs now. My nail painting days are over! *sobs uncontrollably*.
But really, it look terrible, so terrible in fact I used my Cinderella hand for today’s post. Prepare for some awkward photos!
What I Used:
Base: Squeeze the Day from KB Shimmer Summer Collection
Dots: Aspen from Zoya. I used a medium-sized dotting tool to create the dots.
It was incredibly difficult to hold the polish bottle with my Cinderella hand. It felt so awkward. (And I think it looks really awkward.)
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone was able to get through this post ok. I can barely handle how awkward my hand looks. Thanks again. See everyone on Thursday.
Today’s nails are anticipation of tomorrow. For some crazy reason I agreed to see the new IT movie. I probably won’t sleep Friday night. My BF’s Dad likes the book and the old IT movie so he’s leading the parade to the theater.
I did the nails with a glossy top coat but I thought it was hard to see so I put a matter top coat over top. Here is a side by side:
What I Used:
Base: You’re so Tragic gel polish from Bundle Monster
Balloons & ‘IT’: Color Club Style Icon & Royal Flush and China Glaze White on White.
These nails turned out so creepy! The glossy IT looks textured and bring out the (blood) red colour. I free-handed the balloons and ‘IT’ using a thing brush. I did it all in white first, then went over it in the reds.
Just a few more pictures to really show you the balloons!
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I probably won’t sleep Friday night cause I’ll be having nightmares about Pennywise. I hope everyone else has a wonderful weekend.
I hope everyone had a wonderful week! Mine has been super busy. I had soccer on Monday night, baseball Tuesday night and yesterday I did yard work and cut the grass!
I have simple nails up on the blog. They were super fun to create and they look elegant.
What I Used:
I put on 2 coats of base boat to get my nail extra shiny. I then used a makeup sponge to dab on the gorgeous glitter polish called Purple Hearts by Barielle.
That’s it! I know super short post but this was so simple to create it doesn’t require much explaining! I topped it off with Seche Vite fast dry top coat.
Thank you everyone for stopping by.Your continued support means so much to me! Have a wonderful weekend!
