FaBOOlous Nails 👻

Happy Mani Monday!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. My BFs sister came home from her trip to Cuba engaged! I am beyond happy for her! I went to the airport with her brother (my BF) and their mother. I greeted her with a giant pickle (her nickname) with a ring on it. (Photo will be up on my personal IG later today).

Nail time! More Halloween nails today. This time I did some reverse stamping. It mostly worked. But similar situation as my pervious sunflowers where the reverse stamp was very sticky and wouldn’t line up properly.

Products:
Color Club Si Vous Please!, Pucci-Licious & a dark purple with no name. China Glaze Lotus Begin & White on White and OPI 4 in the Morning. MoYou London Festive plate 44.

I created the gradient using a makeup sponge. I’ve been using regular tape in place of a latex barrier as I am out of latex. The gradient turned out better than expected. I topped it off with a clear sparkly polish.

The reverse stamping turned out ok. I believe I can do better. I almost didn’t post these nails since I didn’t like the stamping But I do this blog to show the ups and downs so I felt like I should post it. I’m happy i did!

I’ve had 2 nights this week where I’ve been able to spend a few hours on my nails so I already have 2 more Halloween posts to share plus a tutorial. That’s right, I’ve made my first nail video! I’m super proud and I hope to share it next week! Thank you for stopping by! Have a great week!

Batty for Halloween

Happy Thursday!

Today I’m starting off with a batty design for Halloween! I’ve been able to spend a bit more time on my nails so I even have next weeks post ready to go!

Products Used:
Gradient Base: KB Shimmer Hashtag You’re It, Kiwi Real & Shady Beaches. I tried using a makeup sponge for the gradient, like I do for most, but the colour was absorbed in the sponge and the silver holo flakes were the only thing on my nails! It looked crazy. I had to redo it and just blob the polish on. The gradient turned out perfect but it did take a bit longer.
Stamping: China Glaze Liquid Leather & MoYou London Festive plate 44.

The stamping went perfectly. I love how the gradient turned out.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Stay tuned for some more Halloween nails next week!

Long Weekend Neons!

Good Morning!

How is everyone doing this morning? I’m super excited it’s almost the long weekend! I had to have fun nails for the occasion! This design used 5/6 Color Club Neon Collection.

What I Used:
Base: Chine Glaze White on White
Colours: Color Club Volt of Light, Tangerine Scream, Pure Energy, Ultra Violet & Electro Candy and China Glaze In the Lime Light.

I placed drops on polish on my MoYou London large marshmallow stamper then proceeded to stamp on the polish. It created this marble effect. Mushed up neons are some of the best neons!

I used skinny chevron nail vinyls to create the white spaces. I did have a bit of leakage under the nail vinyls but that was totally my fault since I had just painted my nail white I was scared I was going to mess up the mostly dry polish by pressing them down hard. Luckily is was fairly easy to cleanup!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend. Mondays blog post will most likely be on Tuesday (since the Monday is the holiday). Thanks again!
