Unicorns

Good Morning!

Wow the weekend flew by! I don’t feel┬árested at all. I could use a whole day of napping. Today’s nails were somewhat inspired by the new Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino. I say somewhat because I used a unicorn stamp and did purple nails.

What I Used:
Base: I used my large MoYou London marshmallow stamper to mush the colours together on my nail. Polishes used are Color Club Pussi-Licous, a dark purple with no name & China Glaze Lotus Begin.
Stamping: MoYou London Tumblr Girl collection plate 02 & China Glaze White on White.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a great week. I look forward to napping later today!

Marble Veins

Good Morning Nail World.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! It felt like a Thursday all week so I’m finally glad it’s actually Thursday! I tried to a new technique on the blog today. I attempted marble veins.

What I Used:
Base: Zoya Aspen
Veins: Cosmetic Arts light Grey polish & Wet’N’Wild Black Creme

After my base dried I squiggled on the grey polish using the thinnest brush I have. I used a slightly larger brush to put acetone on the grey veins to dilute them. I did the same for the black lines but I didn’t dilute it quite as much.

My inspiration is the piece of marble we have in our shower. (We have a built-in recessed shelf in our shower for our shampoo bottles. The edges are all marble). My veins are quite strong compared to my inspiration, but I still love the outcome.

Thank you everyone for stopping by. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Easter Monday

Happy Easter Monday!

I’m jealous of the people who also get today off. I would have loved to have a 4 day weekend! Today’s nails are Easter themed. I wore them to my family’s dinner yesterday.

What I Used:
Base: A light purple by Color Club (no polish name on the bottle) & a Cosmetic Arts silver for the pinky
Stamping: MoYou London stamping plate Tourist 07 using China Glaze Spring in my Step & Grass is Lime Greener, and Maybelline Color Show Shocking Seas.
Pinky: I topped is off with a Cosmetic Arts silver glitter polish.

I did gradient stamping to give it the Easter feel. These nails are super cute but they didn’t last too long doing dishes at my parents after Easter Dinner. I had some minor chipping at the tips.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and will have a great week!
