Blue Dry Brush

Happy Long Weekend Monday!

I hope everyone is enjoying their day off! Right now I am probably driving home from Quebec with my brother. I’m writing this blog post a few days early in case I am unable to write a fresh one on the road. But since you reading this it means I’m probably driving and can’t write a new post.

I did these nails about a week ago. I loved the green dry brush I did a few nail posts ago and wanted to try one in blue.

What I Used:
Base: Born Pretty white gel polish 6004
Dry Brush: Essie Bobbing for Baubles, Mesmerized, Strut your Stuff, Where’s my Chauffeur and As Gold as it Gets.
Top: OPI rapid dry top coat

I’m honestly not a huge fan of these nails. The only thing I see is a messed up middle finger nail…I filed it crooked. Even tho these aren’t perfect nails, I wanted to share so everyone knows that we’re human. (Life lesson right there).

Haha. Oh my middle finger nail, so silly, makes me laugh every time I look at the poor thing. I’ve since fixed the problem before my road trip to Quebec.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Thank you for checking my post out during the long weekend and enjoy!

Leopard with the Golden Gun

Good Morning Everyone!

Today is my Friday! I have tomorrow off because I’m driving (all by my self) to Quebec to see my brother. He’s going to school there and was able to get a job so he hasn’t been home since January. It’s going to be an adventure!

Today I’d like to share some leopard print nails.

What I Used:
Base: Color Club Give me a Hint
Print: Wet’N’Wild Black Creme and OPI The Man with the Golden Gun & my smallest dotting tool.
Top Coat: Orly Matte top coat

It feels like I haven’t done leopard print in sooooooo long! Turned out just the way I wanted. I love this OPI Gold polish! It’s real gold flakes! And it’s from the James Bond collection which I love so much!!

I will be driving back from Quebec with my brother on Monday, so it will depend on where I am in my journey if I’m able to post a blog post or not. I will be pulling nails from my vault for the post since I won’t have time to paint them this weekend.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! It means a lot to me that you take a few minutes out of your day to check out my blog and nail photos. So thank you for your support and love.

Firey Nails

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week is going to be pretty busy. I have a soccer game tonight and I’m going to Quebec this weekend to see my brother. GPS told me it will take 8 hrs to get there! (Eek!) I’m going to need a bunch of snacks!

Today’s nails I wanted to do a real watermarble but the clear polishes I tried did not spread at all. After the 2nd drop of clear it didn’t want to move. So I stamped the watermarble.

What I Used:
Base: Born Pretty white gel polish 6004
Gradient: China Glaze Seas the Day, Stoked to be Soaked and Sun Upon my Skin.
Stamping: OPI 4 in the Morning, Vivid Laquer stamping plate VL009 and Bundle Monster Clear Stamper.

The gradient turned out PERFECT. Like I was super worried when I sponged on the colours because it was so light. Then next thing I know BAM! Vivid colours. Just awesome!

If anyone has any suggestions on how to watermarble with clear that would be great! I’d really like to get it to work for me one day.

Thank you everyone for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your week! And I’ll enjoy only working 4 days!
