Monday Blues

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was over at my parents house yesterday for dinner and a board game. (I finally won!) And I asked my Dad, Mom and BF what I should paint on my nails. My Dad and Bf both said blue. Dad also suggested dripping paint (or rain, as it was raining at the time). And voila!

What I used:
The Base: This is a new polish I got that day from my sister, all the way from South Korea! (She is teaching overseas and sent me a package with a bunch of nail stuff.) The polish is called Olive Farm 1104A. In other words it’s a pastel blue.
The Drips: Picture Polish Moody Blues.

I used a thin brush to draw the drips. I think this is the first time I’ve done the dripping paint thing on my nails. I’ve seen it a bunch on Instagram so I’m glad the idea was suggested to me!

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Now that I look outside, the sun is shining, so my Monday blues nails no longer apply….it was raining this morning so they kind of counted. Thanks again! Have a great week!

Space Pizza!

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I have some awesome nails I’ve wanted to try for 2 weeks! The idea for these nails came to me after my watermelon nails. I wanted to do something similar in style and that’s when I thought PIZZA! And to make it better I did a spacey background. (Ya that’s right, I wanted SPACE PIZZA!)

What I Used:
Base: Color Club (no name), it’s a dark purple polish and Si Vous Please! for sparkle
Pizza: Crust-China Glaze Don’t Honk Your Thorn, Cheese-China Glaze Metro Pollen-Tin and OPI Angle with a Leadfoot, Pepperoni-Barielle Big Apple Red

I used a super thin brush to create the pizza. I started with triangles in the crust colour, then did a few drops of the cheese polishes and swirled them around with the brush and I used a small dotting tool for the pepperoni. I think these nails are so freakin’ cute!

What was even more awesome is that at work it was inventory day which means the whole plant gets a pizza day! It’s the greatest day for pizza! Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my pizza as much as I did! Have a great weekend!

Tart Deco Gradient

Good Morning Everyone!

I had such a busy weekend, with house work, lawn work and a going away party that I had 20 mins to do my nails last night! I went to bed with denttable (that’s a word right?) nails and I prayed that it would be ok in the morning! You can be the judge on how they turned out:

Not to shabby! Here is what I used:
Base: Essie Tart Deco
Stamping: Color Show Porcelain Party and Essie Tart Deco, Bundle Monster festival plate BM-S310 & clear stamper
Top: Orly Matte top coat

I did a gradient stamp. I think it turned out pretty good for 20 mins on a Sunday night! I only had one nail (my pinky) that had bed sheet marks on it.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a great week and I hope this weather becomes sunny again. No one wants the rain right now!
