Marble Veins

Good Morning Nail World.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! It felt like a Thursday all week so I’m finally glad it’s actually Thursday! I tried to a new technique on the blog today. I attempted marble veins.

What I Used:
Base: Zoya Aspen
Veins: Cosmetic Arts light Grey polish & Wet’N’Wild Black Creme

After my base dried I squiggled on the grey polish using the thinnest brush I have. I used a slightly larger brush to put acetone on the grey veins to dilute them. I did the same for the black lines but I didn’t dilute it quite as much.

My inspiration is the piece of marble we have in our shower. (We have a built-in recessed shelf in our shower for our shampoo bottles. The edges are all marble). My veins are quite strong compared to my inspiration, but I still love the outcome.

Thank you everyone for stopping by. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Autumn Marble

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great week! This week has been SOOOOOO busy at work, I’ve stayed late 3 days to far. I’m pooped!

Today’s nails are autumn colours marbled together on a stamper and then stamped on my nails.

What I Used:
Base: White gel polish from Born Pretty Store 6004
Colours: On my large MoYou London stamper I dropped on Barielle Soho at Night & Central Park and Color Club Yellow (not sure what it’s called) and then stamped those colours on my nails to create a marbled look.
Stamping: Bundle Monster plate BM-S207 and Wet’N’Wild Black Creme.

I love how this turned out. I feel that it is very fall~esque. I wore this to work and I actually had a few girls comment on them. I was so happy!

Thanks everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Marbled Stamping

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a blast at the Jays game on Saturday! They won 3-2 and the dome was open. Turned out to be a beautiful day for a ball game!

I bought a few new stamping plates from Bundle Monster. This is a collab with elleandish.

What I Used:
Base: I dotted both Color Club Twiggie and China Glaze Spring in my Step on a stamper. I mushed/stamped the colours on making a marbled mess on my fingers.
Stamping: Wet’N’Wild Black Creme. Bundle Monster BM-XL201 collab plate with elleandish.

I love how the colours mushed together. It was definitely a better method than a sponge. (I liked the final outcome more than the sponge). I stamped using my clear stamper.

Thanks everyone for stopping by! Have a great week.
