One week closer to Easter and 4 days till MOMS BIRTHDAY! I’ll have Birthday nails for mom on Mondays post. Today’s post is all about Easter!
What I Used:
Base: China Glaze If in Doubt, Surf it Out.
Carrots: Color Show Orange Fix, China Glaze Stoked to be Soaked & Essie Mojito Madness.
Bunny: China Glaze White on White, Feel the Breeze & Wet’N’Wild Black Creme
I used a thin paint brush for everything. Free-handed it all. The carrots were so tiny I only ended up doing one hand. I went to work the next day with only one hand painted.
I took my 3 attempts to get the bunny butt right. First time was too small, second was really gooey, so for the third I took all the polish off and started fresh. It worked that time. What a cute little bunny butt!
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Good Morning Nail Gang,
I hope everyone is having a great week. Hang in there it’s almost Friday. Today’s nails are random. I was trying to do some reverse stamping, trying to create mermaid nails, but it kept smudging and not working. So I gave up and painted my nails blue and felt like adding green glitter that had caught my eye. No idea what I was trying to do (beside making a huge mess), these nails remind me of Earth.
What I Used:
Base: China Glaze Frostbite
Glitter: WOW glitter, dark green
To make the glitter stick, I dabbed on some top coat and put glitter on my nails while the it was still wet. I let is sit there for a minute then brushed it off using a fan brush.
These were really easy to do and I LOVE the colour combination. Random nails sometimes work out better than the ideas in your head. It’s always a nice change to start doing something and not knowing where it will take you.
Thank you everyone for stopping by. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
Good Morning, its Mani Monday!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had to pick up my parents from the airport on Saturday after their vacation in the Dominican. BUT Sunwing, the flight company, delayed their flight home for 13 HOURS with no explanation! A whole day wasted at the airport! It was the next day at 5am when they landed back in Canada. They are so happy to be home!
I was pretty tired the rest of the weekend but I am just glad my parents are home safe. I did have time to do my nails.
What I Used:
Base: A beautiful grey Cosmetic Arts polish (no name)
Blobs: Essie Tart Deco
Top: Seche Vite
This was my first time getting the blobbicure to work. The polish really spread well on my thumb nail. I only had maybe 2 nails that overflowed with nail polish, but it was easy to clean up.
The Cosmetic Arts grey polish is definitely one of my favourite greys. I’m so glad this blobbicure worked so well. It will be something I will do again, maybe with more colours.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope you all have a wonderful week.
