Purple Polka Dots

Happy Thursday!

Do you know what today is!?! It’s the start of MAPLE LEAFS POST SEASON! I’m so excited that the leafs made the playoffs. Less excited they are playing the Bruins as that is my BF’s team. So may the best team win!

I really wanted to do hockey themed nails for today but I’ve been sick so I decided it was best that I rest. So I’ve got purple polka dots to share today!

Products Used:
Base: OPI O Suzi Mio
Dots: Picture Polish Eerie, Essie Full Steam Ahead, KB Shimmer Berry Chill & Zoya Iris

I created a tutorial that I will share tomorrow, but after I painted my the base colour I used a small dotting tool to create a different dot pattern on each nail starting with the lightest purple to the darkest. I wish the Zoya polish showed better on the dark base, but now I know for next time.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I’m going to be watching playoff hockey tonight and I can’t wait!!

Abstract & the Flower

Happy Mani Monday!

How was everyone’s weekend? I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. My BF and I had a fire on out deck last night, it was a bit chilly but I brought out a fuzzy blanket. It was perfect!

Today’s nails are somewhat abstract with some flower stamping.

Products Used:
Picture Polish Eerie, Cosmetic Arts pink polish, China Glaze Liquid Leather & MoYou London Flower Power 04

I did the pink abstract spaces using a thin brush. I didn’t use tape because I wasn’t sure what shapes I was going to draw. I stamped the flower on where ever I wanted. There was a few times I just closed my eyes and hope the stamp hit my nail. It worked great and I love the randomness of the stamp.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

St Patrick’s Clovers

How is everyone doing this snowy Thursday afternoon? Its been such a busy day today. We just finished having a retirement lunch for one of our staff. (And we all got to eat cake(!) my favourite.)

I’ve got St. Patrick’s day nails to share. Not the best nails I’ve done but I wanted to share anyways.

Products Used:
Base: China Glaze In The Lime Light
Stamping: Picture Polish Dandelion, Color Club Abyss & Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-723

I stamped Dandelion first, it’s a bit hard to see on the neon base, but you’ll get the sparkle-lyness in the right light.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! And I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
