Happy Mani Monday!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I accomplished quite a bit this weekend. We took a trip to Ikea where I bought a frame and some white boxes. I created a new light box that perfectly fits in my shelving unit. We also found some beautiful new curtains for our living room, so I spent Sunday hemming them to fit.
Today’s nails are inspired by…the curtains! Yes. Spending all the time with the curtains made me want to put them on my nails!
I took all these photos in my new light box! I’ve wanted to do this for so long. I’ve always had a light box but it was so big and bulky it didn’t fit the space well. This is perfect and slides away amazingly.
What I Used:
Base: Essie Bobbing for Baubles on my pinky, index and thumb. China Glaze White on White on my ring and middle finger.
Stamping: Color Club Feel Tower Power & PUEEN plate 83
Check out that curtain comparison! SPOT ON! I cannot believe how changing some curtains can alter the whole dynamic of the room. Before they were red ones, (free from my parents, they looked fine), but now, WOW. Our living room looks amazing.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I wish everyone a wonderful week, check back Thursday for new nails!
Good Morning, and Happy Birthday to my Sister!
She turns 25 today. And for her birthday I’ve created special nails. Have you heard of Theodore Tugboat? It was a children’s TV show when I was a kid. One of the characters on the show was Constance the Coast Guard ship. She was always very serious and everyone had to be on their best behaviour when she was around. So now with a long running joke, I did the coast guard ship on my nails! Here is Constance:

What I Used:
Base: a pale blue Color Club polish (no name on bottle)
Stamping (thumb & ring finger): I stamped using PUEEN plate 76 onto a silicone mat and coloured the image in using a thin paint brush. I used China Glaze Liquid Leather, White on White, At Vase Value, Metro-Pollen-Tin & Seas the Day and Essie I’m Addicted.
Stamping (other fingers): Same PUEEN plate and Seas the Day
Words: I had written the words using the same small brush and a lamp/magnifying glass combo.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I know I said I was going to post my 2nd set of fake nails from vacation, but my sister comes first. I just hope she likes it! Happy 25th Birthday Constance!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a pretty laid back weekend. I did however count my nail polish! I hung my nail rack on the wall so as I refilled it I counted it. I have 462 nail polish bottles! OMG! I was pretty shocked and proud of myself. I will be purging this week as I have some I can donate.
What I Used:
Base: Cosmetic Arts Polish (no name)
Pinky & Index: Straight nail vinyls from @teismom and Orchid Coin Toss
Stamping: Orchid Coin Toss & PUEEN 96
The stamping turned out pretty well. I was hoping it would be more vibrant.
Thank you everyone for stopping by. I realized after doing these nails that I should have done something St Patrick’s Day themed. Hopefully on Thursday I will have something green to share! Have a great week.
