Good Morning Nail Peeps!
It’s almost Thanksgiving! (Well in Canada). I hope everyone is excited about the long weekend. I know I am.
Today on the blog I’ve started to do more fall-esque nail art. I have some plaid nails I did a few days ago. I’m not a huge fan on how they turned out. I couldn’t get the stamp straight so all i see is wavy lines. But my BF loved them so hence they go up on the blog.
Base is a mustard yellow from Color Club (no name), stamped with Color Club olive-green (another no namer) & China Glaze Liquid Leather. I used MoYou London Hipster plate 05.
You can see on my thumb the wavy print. I even used my clear stamper. The green didn’t stamp as dark as I hoped but again I still like it.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! Monday is a the Thanksgiving holiday for Canadians so I am not sure ig I will have a blog post up on Monday. I will see how the day goes. Thanks again!
Good Morning & Happy #ManiMonday
Today’s nails are a bit on the gruesome side. Since it’s the first week of October I’ve started to transition into the fall/Halloween themes. These nails went straight to Halloween. I’ve based these nails off the book ‘The Birds’. Now I’ve never actually read it (so seen the movie) but I did read a summary. (Now that I’ve done these nails I will definitely watch the movie!)
Base: Essie Spin the Bottle, Color Club Red de Rio & Style Icon, and China Glaze Liquid Leather. Stamping is MoYou London Pro-XL 07, & Bundle Monster BM-XL15 & BM-XL28.
I stamped the blood splatter using both reds to create a more intense splatter look. It makes the birds on barbed wire even more scary.
More Halloween & Autumn themed nails are in the works! I will watch The Birds movie this week and let you all know how it went on Thursday! Thank you everyone for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!
How is everyone’s week going? Mine has been pretty relaxing. The most I’ve done with week is that I donated blood on Tuesday. It was my 9th time doing so. I’m very proud of myself for donating, But enough about me, its nail time!
Today’s nails are on the funky side!
Base Colours: Essie I’m Addicted & Tart Deco.
Leopard Print: China Glaze Liquid Leather & Cosmetic Arts silver sparkly polish.
I first painted my nails all the pinky color; then when dry I used tape to block of a section to create the blue area. I used a thin dotting took to create the spots. This turned out way better than expected. I love it!
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I’ve got maybe 1-2 more nail designs on my cinderella hand to share, but I’m happy to say that my nails on my left hand are back! Moving forward I think I will continue to use both hands as I am super happy how my cinderella hand has gotten used to taking photos.
