Spring Flowers

Good Morning and Happy First day of Spring!

I had a great weekend. I drove my parents to the airport which was super early but I was able to crawl back into bed at 3:30am. On Saturday we celebrated St. Patrick’s day which some green food & beers. And on Sunday we painted the hallway, which was pretty laid back.

This year is going by so fast. I cannot believe it is the first day of spring. I’m glad winter is officially over, I’m excited for the warmer weather!

What I Used:
Base: Essie Full Steam Ahead
Flowers: Revlon Electric, Sinful Colors Let’s Meet ad Wet’N’Wild Black Creme.

I free-handed the sunflowers using a small thin paint brush. I used the Revlon polish first then added a bit of sparkle with the Sinful Colors polish.

Thank you everyone for stopping by. I hope spring like weather is coming with the start of the season. Have a great week!

Good Morning Nail World

I hope everyone is having a great week! Mine has been laid back. We picked out more paint last night to do the hallway. I think I’m almost painted out!

Today’s nails are St Patrick’s Day themed. Be warned, I removed my fake nails and are trying really hard to keep my real nails from breaking. They are stubby! But I need to push through these short nails because I’m tired of wearing fake ones.

What I Used:
Base: Essie Spin the Bottle
Clovers: I free-handed the clovers using the second smallest dotting tool I have, and a thin paint brush. I used Zoya Honor. I topped it all off with Color Club Si Vous Please!

Since the base colour is pretty similar to my skin complexion I wanted to add a bit of sparkle. I felt the polish and my fingers were too close. I do like it better with the sparkle, cause who doesn’t love to sparkle!

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend! Remember daylight savings time begins on Sunday. Even though we lose an hour of sleep, we get more sun!

Good Morning!

Can we talk about this crazy Canadian weather right now?! Monday was beautiful, spring like weather. Yesterday (and Tuesday) it was raining all day and night. Then when I wake up this morning there’s snow on the ground. What the heck Canada!

Today’s nails actually match up this the weather this morning. This is a gorgeous polish from Picture Polish.

What I Used:
Base: Winter by Picture Polish
Stamping: Bundle Monster plate BM-S302 and China Glaze White on White.

These recent Picture Polish polishes are just amazing. They’ve only needed 2 coats and they are shimmery as hell! I’m in love! I still have one more of their polishes to try & I can’t wait!

Sorry about the super awkward hand holding of the stamping plate. I took these photos this morning before work at 6am and my hand didn’t want to hold it properly.

THANK you everyone for stopping by! I’m getting closer to completing my nail room reno. Last night we hung my nail rack on the wall so the only thing left is to put my polish back on the rack! (Well…and organize everything else-I know what I will be doing this weekend!) Thanks again everyone! Have a wonderful weekend.
