CONSTANCE THE COAST GUARD IS VERY SERIOUS

Good Morning, and Happy Birthday to my Sister!

She turns 25 today. And for her birthday I’ve created special nails. Have you heard of Theodore Tugboat? It was a children’s TV show when I was a kid. One of the characters on the show was Constance the Coast Guard ship. She was always very serious and everyone had to be on their best behaviour when she was around. So now with a long running joke, I did the coast guard ship on my nails! Here is Constance:

What I Used:
Base: a pale blue Color Club polish (no name on bottle)
Stamping (thumb & ring finger): I stamped using PUEEN plate 76 onto a silicone mat and coloured the image in using a thin paint brush. I used China Glaze Liquid Leather, White on White, At Vase Value, Metro-Pollen-Tin & Seas the Day and Essie I’m Addicted.
Stamping (other fingers): Same PUEEN plate and Seas the Day
Words: I had written the words using the same small brush and a lamp/magnifying glass combo.

Thank you everyone for stopping by! I know I said I was going to post my 2nd set of fake nails from vacation, but my sister comes first. I just hope she likes it!  Happy 25th Birthday Constance!

I’m Home!

Good Morning Nail world,

I hope everyone had a wonderful week last week! I had a beautiful vacation; the sun was out everyday, it was hot, the drinks were cold and went down easy and the beach was gorgeous. I had mentioned 2 weeks ago I did up 2 sets of fake nails for the trip. Good thing I did because they were a mess. They did a fantastic job at protecting my real nails. I’ve blogged about the first set so the second set will be blogged about on Thursday.

Today I have nails I wore 2 Fridays ago, right before vacation, this time it was done on my real nails.

What I Used:
Base: Bundle Monster Button Down gel polish
Stamping: China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy & MoYou London Plate Tropical 11, Bundle Monster plate BM-S409 & China Glaze Liquid Vinyl.

These are basically the same as the fake nail set. I loved the look so much I wanted to do it with a white base. These fell off/broke the first day in the salt water so day 2 of my trip was putting on the fake set.

There are a few trip photos on my personal IG, and I will be posting a few more. If you like to check it out click HERE. Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has a wonderful week. See you Thursday!

Vacationing

Good Morning Nail World,

I hope everyone is having a great week! Mine has been beyond busy. We won our soccer (4-2) and baseball (15-11) games, I’ve cut the grass, done laundry, returned some clothes and painted 2 sets of fake nails! I’ve created the fake nails for my vacation on Saturday; mainly because my real nails always break on vacation. I hope this will stop that from happening.

What I Used:
Base: Bundle Monster gel polish Fairy Fantastic
Stamping: China Glaze White on White, Liquid Leather & Flip Flop Fantasy. MoYou London Tropical plate 11 & Holy Shapes plate 05 and Bundle Monster plate BM-S409

These turned out exactly how I imagined. They were a bit difficult to create since the fake nails were not on my nails and I don’t have any fake hands/fingers; so I used the end of a pencil with tape to stick the nail too so I could paint it. It worked well.

I will post a photo with the nails on my fingers during my vacation. Thank you everyone for stopping by! Just a reminder there will be NO BLOG POSTS NEXT WEEK. I will be vacationing and a week off from the regular routine will be nice! I will still be active on IG; feel free to check out my nails there. Thanks again!
