It’s almost the weekend!
How is everyone week been so far? I love the gorgeous weather we are having. After work I’ve been sitting outside soaking up the sun. With all the wonderful weather I was craving some tropical nails.
And so that’s what i did! Tropical nails using another polish from the Chic Physique Collection.
China Glaze Pilates Please, Activewear Don’t Care, Grass is Lime Greener, Color Club Wild Cactus & Mad About Mint, and Zoya Honor. MoYou London stamping plates Tropical 01 & 11.
I stamped the green polishes once, with mostly a different leaf pattern. Turned out just how I imagined it.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I hope everyone has the best weekend.
Do you know what today is!?! It’s the start of MAPLE LEAFS POST SEASON! I’m so excited that the leafs made the playoffs. Less excited they are playing the Bruins as that is my BF’s team. So may the best team win!
I really wanted to do hockey themed nails for today but I’ve been sick so I decided it was best that I rest. So I’ve got purple polka dots to share today!
Base: OPI O Suzi Mio
Dots: Picture Polish Eerie, Essie Full Steam Ahead, KB Shimmer Berry Chill & Zoya Iris
I created a tutorial that I will share tomorrow, but after I painted my the base colour I used a small dotting tool to create a different dot pattern on each nail starting with the lightest purple to the darkest. I wish the Zoya polish showed better on the dark base, but now I know for next time.
Thank you everyone for stopping by! I’m going to be watching playoff hockey tonight and I can’t wait!!
Mani Monday is here again!
How was everyone’s Easter? Did you eat a lot of candy? I was (surprisingly) able to keep my chocolate intake down. We did our annual trash can turkey, there’s a photo of my lighting it here. The turkey turned out delicious.
Nail time! I created these nails before Easter.
Polishes: Color Club light yellow polish with no name, Sinful Colors Let’s Meet, Zoya Sue & China Glaze Liquid Leather.
I created the marble look using a thin brush and diluted nail polish. After the light yellow base, I used the bright yellow to create wiggly lines. Followed by the light gold/white shimmery Zoya polish. I had to use quiet a bit of acetone to water down the black so it wouldn’t’ be the only thing you see. Overall it turned out amazing!
I topped it off with my favourite top coat of all time. OPI The Man with the Gold Gun. Not only is it a James Bond polish but it is pack with 14ct gold leaves. Just beautiful!
Thank you everyone for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!
